Music Tech Toolkit for Music Therapists

Technology has been part of our everyday life with an increasing ability to support our daily tasks on a personal and professional perspective. It provides us with resources for organisation, communication, data resourcing, among many others, expanding our horizons in many levels.

It is therefore important to acknowledge that Music Therapy, as any other profession, is also impacted by these technology developments, and that incorporating them into our practice may bring a wealth of resources to facilitate our work. It is also paramount, however, that these technologies are applied with all our clinical rigour.

This course will focus on introducing tested technologies and its associated clinical goals in the areas of cognition, physical presentation, communication and language, and emotional wellbeing for a range of client groups and therapeutic objectives for remote and live Music Therapy work.
