Using Music to Support Children and Young People with SEND

This training explores the use of music to support learning and development for children and young people with SEND.

Participants will learn about the positive effect of music on the brain and how musical activity can help to improve communication, physical function, emotional expression and learning skills.

The session will include an overview of music therapy with SEND clients, case studies from music therapists and community musicians, and practical exercises to help spark further ideas. A really useful training for anyone wishing to use music more in their work with this population!
