Community Voices Afternoon Success

Community Voices Afternoon... What a fantastic heartwarming afternoon filled with connection and community spirit!

“Thank you for organising such a brilliant afternoon and bringing everyone together in such a lovely way” - Silver Singers Member

At the weekend, we were delighted to bring together our Chiltern music groups, including 'Silver Singers', 'Choir on the Green', 'Let's Sing' and also 'Safe in Sound' along with our very talented Music Therapists and Community Musicians to the White Hill Centre in Chesham for an uplifting afternoon.

Our music filled event brought smiles and rhythm to a packed out room with wonderful people. We had an afternoon of lively singalongs, hands on percussion and plenty of tea and cake!

Rosie Axon, Founder of Chiltern Music Therapy said: "Events like our Community Voices concert sum up everything Chiltern holds dear - keeping the voices and stories of our members at centre stage, and bringing them together with our local communities, so that everyone can be a part of the magic that happens when we sing and make music together! Making the event multi-generational and ensuring our Music Therapists are there to help anyone who needs support to join in, means that this really was an event for everyone; seeing families and people of all ages singing together and making music in the moment always feels so special and I can't wait for next year's event!"

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us, join in and help make the day so special.

We'll be holding this event again next year, make sure you're first to hear about it by signing up to our newsletter!
