Waterside Singers: Bringing People Together Through Song

Waterside Singers is a relaxed community singing group in Aylesbury, bringing adults together through music, conversation and connection.

May 19, 2026

On Wednesday mornings, the foyer at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre fills with voices, conversation and the gentle buzz of community, as people come together for Waterside Singers.

This friendly and inclusive community singing group welcomes adults of all ages and backgrounds who simply enjoy singing with others. There are no auditions and no need to read music, as all songs are taught by ear in a relaxed and supportive environment.

What to Expect

Led by our wonderful founder Rosie Axon, sessions include songs from around the world, folk songs, well-known favourites and music suggested by the group themselves. Whether you haven’t sung since school, already sing in a choir, work from home, are retired, on parental leave, enjoying a day off, or simply fancy trying something new, Waterside Singers offers a welcoming space to connect, unwind and enjoy music together.

Each session includes time for singing, tea and coffee, conversation and community. People are welcome to come on their own or bring a friend, and many find the group a lovely way to meet new people while enjoying the shared experience of music.
