Advancing Healthcare Awards 2022 Winners

We are so excited to have been awarded the British Association for Music Therapy Award for music therapists who are developing innovative ways of providing effective music therapy in the UK for our DUET portal, the first-of-its-kind and one step repository that resembles the therapeutic space in a digital manner to enable therapists and clients to share individualised therapeutic resources and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Development of this innovative tool was informed by clients and therapists’ needs and experiences, and aimed to provide a valuable resource for blended therapy provisions, enabling a more accessible, flexible and consistent support, as well as cost effective and above all more therapeutically beneficial than purely in-person or remote services alone.

Duet portal is now accessible by any organisation that would like to make use of this resource, with hosting, training and support by Chiltern Music Therapy.

We take the opportunity to congratulate the other finalists, Anna Tyrell, Amelia Clapham and Katie Bolger for their inspiring projects!
