Helping bring joy to communities this Christmas

This Christmas, we’re inviting our supporters, families and friends to help bring the power of music to people who need it most. Whether you’re singing along to the radio, humming a familiar carol, or playing festive songs at home, your seasonal soundtrack can help keep our community groups running.

Our Christmas campaign turns something many of us do throughout December—enjoy Christmas music—into a meaningful way to support others. Every contribution helps cover the hidden costs that allow our groups to run safely, accessibly, and consistently for the people who rely on them.

How Your Support Helps

Your donation will directly support a range of vital groups across the communities we serve, including:

Sing to Beat Parkinson’s - Helping people with Parkinson’s improve their voice, breath control and movement through joyful group music-making.

Silver Singers Groups for Older Adults - Creating warm, welcoming spaces where older adults can experience connection, comfort and recognition through familiar songs.

Mental Health Jamming Groups - Offering a friendly, low-pressure environment where people can explore music, express themselves and build confidence.

Safe in Sound Dementia Group - Providing a safe haven for creativity and connection for people living with dementia and their carers.

Supporting the Hidden Costs of Community Groups

Running these groups involves more than just the sessions themselves. Your support helps cover the essential but often unseen costs that make them possible, including:

  • Accessible instruments and resources
  • Technology and equipment to run groups safely and inclusively
  • Venue hire
  • Travel to reach isolated or underserved communities
  • Ongoing training to ensure our team can support a wide range of needs
  • Scheduling and communication with group members

By helping cover these hidden costs, your donation ensures our Community Groups remain welcoming, effective, and sustainable, giving participants the best possible experience.

How You Can Get Involved

If festive music brings you joy, you can help share that joy with others. This Christmas, we’re asking people to contribute whatever they can. Whether that’s a one-off donation, adding a small gift on top of their Christmas shopping, or making a gesture inspired by how many festive songs they enjoy this season.

Every act of generosity helps someone access music that supports their wellbeing, connection, and confidence.

Together, we can bring more music, more joy, and more moments of connection to communities this Christmas.
