Szymon

Szymon started music therapy at the start of year 10. Now, at the end of year 11, Szymon’s sessions are drawing to a close and he reflects on his time in music therapy with his therapist, Sabina.

Over the last two years, Szymon and Sabina have worked closely together and whilst it is important to note that the therapy space is confidential, Szymon has chosen to share a small snapshot of his sessions. In this video, you may hear an exclusive clip of Szymon's original song “In My Sleep”.

Sabina has been working in Babington Academy - a mainstream secondary in Leicester - as part of the school’s mental health prevention programme. Sabina works collaboratively with the students, working on a range of personalised goals.
