Waddesdon Manor and Rothschild Foundation Charity of the Year

Chiltern Music Therapy, will receive a grant from the Rothschild Foundation, a grant-making charity within Waddesdon supporting the local third sector through a number of grant programmes focusing on the arts, the environment and social welfare. With the support from staff and volunteers, fundraising events are raising funds and awareness for the organisation.

David Terrace, Grants Manager at the Rothschild Foundation, said: “This year’s charity of the year partnership with Chilterns Music Therapy is hugely exciting. We are pleased to have the opportunity to raise the awareness and provide vital funds towards the provision of good quality music therapy, which we know makes a huge difference to people across the county and links to our strategic funding focus on the wider benefits of the arts.”

Rosie Axon, Founder and Director of the Chiltern Music Therapy, said: “We are thrilled to have been chosen as the organisation that The Rothschild Foundation will support this year. They have already shown such generous support and kindness at the beginning of this partnership, and we are so excited for the fantastic collaborations and events that they have lined up for the year ahead!"
